Funding a campaign

Learn how to connect your bank to fund a campaign on Duzlo, and what happens if payment fails or doesn’t settle in time.

Updated over a week ago

Once you've set up the details of your campaign, the final step before publishing it is funding. Duzlo uses Stripe to securely process payments and connect your bank account. Here’s how it works.

How to fund your campaign

  1. After reviewing your campaign settings, click Continue to Payment.

  2. If you haven’t previously funded any campaigns, you’ll be prompted to connect a bank account via Stripe.

  3. Once your payment method is connected, you can agree to the terms and click Publish Campaign.

Once published, your campaign becomes active immediately—even if the funds are still settling.

When do funds settle?

  • Payments typically settle within 4 business days.

  • Your campaign is live and accepting submissions immediately after you publish it, regardless of whether funds have settled.

  • Earnings from participant submissions may be tracked during this period but will not be paid out until funds have fully cleared.

What happens if funds don’t settle?

If your payment fails or the funds are not received:

  • Duzlo will terminate the campaign.

  • If this happens more than once, your ability to create new campaigns may be limited due to the negative impact on participants.

  • Users who submitted posts during the first few days of the campaign will not receive payouts if the funds do not arrive—this damages trust and platform integrity and therefore in some situations you may be held liable for unpaid earnings that occur in the first few days of the campaign.

Important for bank accounts with ACH protections

If your bank account is configured to block ACH debits, you must allowlist the following Company IDs before funding your campaign:

  • 1800948598

  • 4270465600

This ensures the payment is not blocked and your campaign can proceed smoothly.
