A campaign has unclear requirements

If a campaign’s brief is unclear or confusing, contact us. We’ll review it and ensure participants aren’t penalized unfairly.

Updated over 2 weeks ago

If you’ve come across a campaign where the requirements are unclear, confusing, or seem open to interpretation, you’re not alone—and you’re right to flag it.

Campaign briefs are meant to be explicit and enforceable. If instructions are vague, it's difficult for participants to know what’s expected—and it can result in submissions being rejected unfairly.

Why clarity matters

Duzlo’s review team relies heavily on the campaign brief to determine whether a submission qualifies for approval. When a brief lacks specificity, reviewers must interpret intent—and in these cases, we typically side with the participant. That said, repeated confusion can impact the experience for everyone involved.

What to do if a campaign isn’t clear

If you’re unsure what a campaign is asking for—or feel like the requirements are too vague to follow—you can open a support ticket through the Help Center. Please include:

  • The name of the campaign

  • A brief description of what seems unclear

  • Any post ideas you want to run by us

  • A link to the campaign page

Our team will investigate and take appropriate action. This could include reaching out to the campaign creator for clarification, updating the campaign brief, or in some cases, pausing the campaign temporarily.

You won’t be penalized for unclear instructions

If a campaign’s requirements are found to be unclear or contradictory, and your submission is impacted, we’ll make it right. Our priority is to ensure participants are treated fairly and aren’t penalized for lack of clarity from the campaign creator.
