Once your campaign is published on Duzlo, the brief becomes locked and can no longer be edited from your end. This is by design—to preserve trust and consistency for participants who are already engaging with your campaign.
That said, we understand that mistakes or oversights happen. In rare cases, we do allow changes—but it’s important to know when and how.
Why briefs are locked after publishing
Your campaign brief acts as a contract with participants. People submit content based on the exact expectations laid out in your brief. Allowing creators to change that information mid-campaign could lead to confusion, unfair rejections, or inconsistent enforcement during submission reviews.
For this reason, we highly discourage any edits to the brief once your campaign is live.
When edits may be allowed
In some cases, we will review and make adjustments to your brief if it meets specific criteria—such as:
The brief is too vague or ambiguous and has already caused confusion
Submissions are being rejected unfairly due to unclear expectations
You need to clarify or correct misleading wording that’s impacting participation
We do not allow updates that:
Significantly change the nature of the campaign
Add new requirements that didn’t previously exist
Penalize participants retroactively
How to request a change
If you believe your campaign brief needs to be updated:
Open a support ticket through the Help Center
Include the campaign name, direct link, and a clear explanation of what needs to be changed and why
Our team will review and determine if an update is appropriate
What happens after a change is approved?
The updated brief will only apply to new submissions going forward
Submissions that were already reviewed and rejected will remain as-is, but
Users may choose to resubmit their post under the new brief if it now qualifies
We do not re-review posts automatically unless a user resubmits
Best practice moving forward
To avoid situations like this, we strongly recommend:
Drafting your campaign brief in a separate document
Using AI tools (like ChatGPT) to help eliminate ambiguity
